Hello again loyal listeners! As the last podcast of this year before we head into the next, I thought a interview on genealogy and family history services in the library felt right. For this interview I spoke with Kathy Strauss of the Denton public library system. We conducted this interview at the reference desk so we had a few interruptions. Sorry about that!

With graduation around the corner for many SLIS students, I belive it is important to go over how to prepare for your professional carrer. So I went right to Cindy Batman, speaker at the UNT SLIS Denton School Day program, to find out the fact about how to prepare. While this interview does have a LIS slant, the advice is solid for anyone heading into the professonial world.
